This happy pig seems to be enjoying his freedom, and that was the inspiration for the title, Schwein Gehabt. In German, ‘Schwein gehabt’ is a phrase that means to have a stroke of good luck such as narrowly escaping a bad situation. This little piggy might have just had a big stroke of luck in escaping Herr Dunderbach, the sausage-maker! Coincidentally, in Germany, pigs (and chimney sweeps) are considered symbols of good luck!
