Springbok are graceful animals and even while grazing their nervous jittery movements and their aerodynamic shape give off a sense of explosive energy. I encountered this herd in northern Namibia, where they were grazing with a group of zebras. The dry grasses and the hot, dry air rising from the parched ground created a mirage that I tried to capture in the waves of color. I hope this image helps you share that sense of restless energy.
