I came across this scene near Bryce Canyon in southern Utah during a road trip with my wife in 2003. The wide blue sky and the rich, red-orange earth contrasted perfectly and framed an amazing vista. I tried to capture the essence of this awesome view on canvas, and I hope that when you see my version, you get a sense of the wonder and vastness of it all.
